Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using CPArcade ("the Service"), operated by Study Arcade LLC d/b/a CPArcade ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Educational Purpose Only

CPArcade is an independent educational and entertainment platform designed to supplement CPA exam preparation. All content — including questions, explanations and study materials — is provided for educational and entertainment purposes only.

CPArcade does not provide professional accounting, tax, legal or financial advice. Use of this Service does not establish a professional relationship between you and Study Arcade LLC d/b/a CPArcade or any of its principals. Do not rely on any content on this platform as a substitute for advice from a licensed CPA, attorney or financial professional.

2. Content Generation and Accuracy

Some questions, answer choices and explanations on CPArcade have been developed with the assistance of artificial intelligence tools and subsequently reviewed and fact-checked by a licensed Certified Public Accountant. While we make every effort to ensure accuracy, CPA exam standards, tax laws and professional guidance change over time and individual questions may contain errors or reflect simplified versions of complex rules for educational purposes.

If you believe a question, answer or explanation contains an error or is misleading, please contact us at hello@cparcade.com. We take accuracy seriously and will review all reports promptly.

CPArcade content is not a substitute for official CPA exam preparation materials, authoritative accounting standards or the guidance of a licensed professional. Always verify critical information against primary sources before relying on it in a professional context.

3. No Guarantee of Exam Results

CPArcade makes no representation, warranty or guarantee that use of this Service will result in passing any section of the Uniform CPA Examination or any other professional examination. The CPA exam is administered by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA). CPArcade is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to either organization.

3. Intellectual Property

All content on CPArcade — including but not limited to questions, answer choices, explanations, game mechanics, design, logos and software — is the original intellectual property of Study Arcade LLC d/b/a CPArcade and is protected by applicable copyright law.

  • You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from any CPArcade content without prior written permission.
  • Questions are original works created by CPArcade and are not sourced from any commercial exam preparation provider.
  • CPA® is a registered trademark of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. CPArcade is an independent product and is not affiliated with the AICPA.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

CPArcade Pro is a paid subscription service billed on a monthly ($9.99/month) or annual ($99/year) basis. By subscribing, you agree to the following:

  • Payments are processed securely by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your payment card information.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a billing period.
  • We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable advance notice.
  • All prices are in US dollars.

5. Free Daily Challenge

The Daily Challenge feature is provided free of charge and does not require a subscription. We reserve the right to modify, limit or discontinue the free Daily Challenge at any time without notice.

6. User Conduct

By using CPArcade, you agree not to:

  • Attempt to copy, scrape or reproduce exam questions or game content for distribution or commercial purposes
  • Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law or regulation
  • Attempt to circumvent any access controls, paywalls or security features
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CPARCADE LLC AND ITS PRINCIPALS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF REVENUE, LOSS OF DATA, FAILURE TO PASS AN EXAM, OR ANY OTHER LOSS ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT CONTENT IS ACCURATE OR CURRENT.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Suffolk County, New York.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
