Plain English summary: We collect your email address and payment info (via Stripe — we never see your card). We use it to run CPArcade. We don't sell your data. Ever.

CPArcade is an independent educational platform operated from New York. You can reach us at hello@cparcade.com with any privacy-related questions.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly:
- Email address — collected when you create an account or subscribe. Used to send receipts, account communications, and product updates.
- Payment information — processed entirely by Stripe. CPArcade never receives or stores your full credit card number. We receive only a token and the last four digits of your card for reference.
Information collected automatically:
- Usage data — which questions you answer, your scores, streaks, and game activity. Used to power your account features (streak tracking, performance history) and improve the product.
- Device and browser information — browser type, operating system, and IP address collected via standard server logs. Used for security and diagnostic purposes.
- Cookies — small files stored on your device to maintain your login session. Essential cookies only — no advertising or tracking cookies.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and improve the CPArcade service
- To process subscription payments and send billing receipts
- To maintain your account, streak, and performance history
- To send product updates and announcements (you can opt out at any time)
- To respond to your support requests
- To comply with legal obligations
We do not use your information for advertising targeting and we do not sell your personal information to third parties under any circumstances.
4. Third-Party Services
CPArcade uses the following third-party services that may process your information:
- Stripe — payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- Memberstack — user authentication and subscription management. Subject to Memberstack's Privacy Policy.
- Netlify — website hosting. Processes standard server log data.
- Mailchimp — email communications if you opt in to marketing emails. Subject to Mailchimp's Privacy Policy.
- Gumroad — digital product delivery for Cheat Sheet purchases. Subject to Gumroad's Privacy Policy.
Each of these services has their own privacy policy governing how they process data. We have selected these providers based on their commitment to data security and privacy.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription and request account deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain certain records (such as billing records for tax purposes, which are retained for 7 years per IRS requirements).
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information in your account
- Delete your account and personal information
- Opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email
- Export your data upon request

7. Children's Privacy
CPArcade is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.
8. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, secure session management, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act. We do not sell personal information. California residents may request disclosure of the categories of personal information collected and the purposes for which it is used by contacting hello@cparcade.com.
10. International Users
CPArcade is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify active subscribers of material changes via email. The date of the most recent update is displayed at the top of this page.
